I combed through my video tapes (I felt a little nostalgic) and discovered an old movie called "Bugville"/"Hoppity goes to town" (1941). [link]
The villain in this movie had two henchmen by his side; this is one of them.

I really admire the people who did this film. I'm especially fascinated by the backgrounds because they are incredibly detailed and done without any computer aid.

I've never seen this movie, but I've heard of it. I love the work of the Fleischers. Great work.

Even at the risk of being nosey: which of Fleischers work did you watch?

No, you're not being nosey. I have seen quite a bit of the old Betty Boop cartoons. My favorites are from her debut to 1934 (The pre-Code Betty). I've seen most of the old Fleischer Popeyes. I saw part of "Gulliver's Travels", but I couldn't sit all the way through it. I've also seen all the Superman cartoons. All in all, I've seen quite a bit of Fleischer cartoons.

Ok, that IS quite a bit of Fleischer.
As for me, I've seen Gulliver's Travels and I liked it (or at least I believe I liked it - it has been a long time since I watched it).

But I didn't know they did Superman too. After reading your reply I immediately watched a few episodes.
"Faster than a speeding bullet..." (I didn't thought I would ever say this but: God bless YouTube ;p)

However - thanks for pointing out. :thanks:
